Humanist, naturalist, still figuring out which me I should be. Interests: wordplay, seedbanks, Triops, puzzles, things that glow in the dark, time travel movies and the Voynich manuscript, among other things. Not usually politics but paying attention now.
Yes, I actually have 2 of those :) will have more! and 2 of the European Blue, i grew a baby to make sure it grew true. The babies from the purple hybrid are pretty too, some have no middle section, some resemble petticoat type doubles, and some look like Black Barlow but bigger with coned petals.

Ah yes I have seen the name. I have Black Barlow amongst the ones I had previous to planting more, also European Blue, and Colorado Blue, plus a weird hybrid double without spurs that gives all sorts of offspring. I am looking forward to those photos too! Here are some from last year

Nice to meet you too! I have these photos of where some of my seeds came from, so I'm looking forward to the results, many I collected through trades just said Columbine, so I hope there are many wonderful surprises in there! They're now growing leaves, should see something in the next month or so!

Mine are my own seed from tomatoes I grew in 2021, 100% germinated. Also a Brandywine Red from seed purchased 2014, that I last grew in 2020. I love how long tomato seeds remain viable, gives you lots of time to get back to them after trying out other things!

Interesting! I had one that had no talons, per se. Some of its babies are coming out not looking like Columbine blooms at all, some have spurs, some don't. First one is the mom, the other 3 are her babies.

Beautiful! I planted every seed I had last year, am so looking forward to what comes up. Received these photos with one of the batches, can't wait to see them in real life. The rest are mostly surprises, hoping there are more upward ones. One of mine was a hybrid that gave me 5 different ones.

I love the peachy ones you have! I've had dark ones for the last few years that i like too. I have seeds for more dark ones and the Alaska variegated ones this year, so maybe I will do that, spread them around, there should be more! I like to snack on them too, a leaf at a time here and there.

I use those too. Used to keep in envelopes in shoeboxes. Now I use coloured photo cases, trying to keep some order either by age, type, colour, and mark everything in a spreadsheet (if it's a tomato it is in the tomato case, purple left, for instance).

I haven't seen Uncut Gems yet but the others I agree. Mine was an old movie I was surprised to have really enjoyed again, plus some Time Travel shorts.

Have to move them, but you can see the belly of the top one and how her arm would follow the shore at the top. The lower one is exactly one unit of herself away from the other, her head would overlap the lower legs at the jagged part of the shoreline. Then draw the nebuly line that intersects her.

Thought I'd add here to inform this thread, as some have liked or shared the Cortona chart photo. (Thank you!) I had mentioned it with regard to the Voynich Manuscript, as the anomalously shaped Black Sea matches what I had identified as same in the the VMS extremely well. Thread continues elsewhere
