Well, that's Dawntrail MSQ finished. I'm glad I decided to give it a second chance. The last area still falls kinda flat (way too complicated of a subject to deal with in just on zone imo) and the second part of Interphos is still a bit too cliché for me (and might be Soken's worst OST as well).

I'm taking it all back, a second Smile cutscene has hit the MSQ...
Played right up until the big cutscene and so far the only time I wanted to kill myself was when Smile started playing during the ascension speech. I count that as a win.

After skipping the 7.0 story all the way up to 7.3, I've finally decided to use the NG+ feature and replay Dawntrail... and I gotta say, it's not nearly as bad now that I roughly know what to expect from it. #FFXIV
