A little bit of context:
Benji got separated from his twin brother Asahi when he became a soul. Due to Asahi's overbearing nature, the relationship between the brothers grew more and more strained throughout the years. But nonetheless, a part of each soul died that day.

The Shikai is not very different from it's normal form, it's inspired by a Nagamaki, so the blade and Tsuka are longer, giving him a longer range. 😄

His Zanpakuto is named Byakuren, which translates into "White Lotus", it's mainly a defensive, supportive Zanpakuto with the ability to cleanse effects, but I'm still working on it. 😁
