I had a novel idea, i should be active on a social media, and since this one seems to be growing rapidly, I figured I'd give it a shot.
I play a bunch of games (minecraft, valorant, fallout, no particular genre) and stream occasionally.

In Americas Kickoff, SEN vs MIBR, we saw two teams very dependent on hero plays by their star power.
Now, in the first round of Masters Bangkok, we see EDG and TL face off with the exact opposite plan. Both of these teams have very powerful protocols and are very disciplined.

that overtime was crazy
seeing MIBR lead almost every overtime set, though, made me realize that both of these times have a really strong defensive half. If MIBR had hit their stride in either of the earlier maps, or even earlier in Pearl, they would've won that map easily.

watching this first game between Sentinels and MIBR, it's super clear that both of these teams rely much more on their star players than on map-specific strategies and team play. That's not to say they're bad at those things, just that they rely on players like Aspas to make important rounds happen.

Watching the back half of the sentinels vs 100t from earlier today, and watching Zekken's yoru makes me think that we've seen a whole lot more yoru this season so far than i remember seeing from the end of last season. I'd be curious to see if this trend continues, or if we see less yoru over time.

BBL is quickly becoming one of my favorite teams in VCT, they run some very fun comps and have great vibes, plus i love their yoru and chamber picks, regardless of whether or not they're optimal

I'm realizing that Ekko is literally perfect, he doesn't make any morally questionable decisions over the course of the show (unlike every other character) and literally saves the universe and also stops a suicide, but despite that perfection he's one of the few characters who ends the show alone.

20 hours deep into my Black Myth: Wukong playthrough, and this game is kicking my ass on all the major bosses (5+ attempts) but I'm hitting all of the in-between bosses first try, which is both an empowering and confusing experience.
Also the spiders are really, really freaky, get them away please.

To me, it makes complete sense that Astro Bot would win Game of the Year; not because it was the best game (imo) but because in a corporatized game show full of mostly AAA game studios, it was the *most* corporate game, and also just happened to do well with consumers.
