Currently only the GUI part runs (in a branch called "decouple-llm". I have been unable to compile @simonwillison.net 's llm itself although it's command line, it depends on some Rust thru Pydantic that doesn't compile on Haiku.

I did enough to compile Gtk4 and friends and pushed it into a PR for Haikuports!

Nice! I've not tried Cherry Studio. From the screenshots, gtk-llm-chat is simpler and relies on llm.datasette.io 's base. It's a good base to build something like Cherry Studio, I think!
