It's a common scam on instagram, there are other kinds of commission scams out there too so be VERY careful!

RED FLAGS:
-Doesn't want to pay with the method you provide
-Wants to pay with "cheque" or "mobile cheque deposit"
-Asks you to draw their son/daughter's dog
-Asks if you draw when your profile is clearly filled with your work
-Asks you to work in a medium you clearly don't do from your profile

PSA ARTISTS:

SCAMMERS ARE ALREADY APPEARING ON BSKY! If you get a comm asking "can you draw a portrait of my child/pet" and offer a large sum of money upfront

IT'S 99% A SCAM

They will pretend to pay you more than what was owed and try to make you pay the difference, or send a phishing link!!
