Please cut the CBC some slack. The Conservatives vow to defund it if they’re elected. On the bright side, the CBC serves the North and rural areas in French, English, and 8 First-Nations’ languages. I’d hate to lose it.

The two issues are interrelated. A defunded CBC would allow the Conservatives to cut social programs without voters finding out. They’re two steps in the same neo-con journey.
