Ethan checked Grokipedia, the Musk version of Wikipedia. In the Grok version - I have been eliminated. Ethan has been eliminated. The entry on the Astrophysical Journal lists Ethan as the Editor-in-Chief and "champion of DEI." We assume that is why he and I were eliminated from Grokipedia.

Spent a little time with Barbara Mikulski today. We get our hair cut at the same place. She is looking frail and asked my help getting out the door. She is 89 years old so I suppose that is to be expected. The bad news is that she is still driving! Regardless, it was nice to see her again.

I know that Social Security may not survive the onslaught of the Republicans, but I am nonetheless thrilled that Ethan's first deposit arrived on time and without an act of God required.

We have entered the squash season! Today - pattypan squash latkes from baby squash. We also harvested two butternut squash - soup later this week. The pumpkin we bought yesterday I will turn in Kaddo after the pumpkin ripens a bit more.

Lovely hike up Maryland Heights on Harper’s Ferry. It’s 2.8 miles uphill and then retrace to come down. I’m at 7 miles walking today with more to come.

My publisher has let me know that the first royalty on my book, Women in the National Inventors Hall of Fame, is about to be issued. So far, that means I will have earned a little less than 50 cents per hour of work. Wahoo!!
