Agreed with your general ideas . However , I would say it’s not so easy here in Canada . You gave Tokyo as an example of “building anything anywhere “. It works in Tokyo because they have excellent public transit . Low income families can rely on cheap public transit to get to wherever reliability.

EVs are great but it’s still a car that takes space. I wish we had these innovations for public transit in NA instead of all the capital flowing in EVs.
