Over 15 days, the PMDP team removed an incredible 62,030 pounds of marine debris from Papahānaumokuākea — including 38,175 pounds of derelict nets that were threatening coral reefs. In total, they surveyed and cleaned 1,766 acres of reef, 149 acres of shoreline, and nearly 20 miles of coastline.
