You have to admire many of the politicians. Thanks to a determined effort, half of Americans believe that everything (childcare, nursing homes, etc.) is free as long as you don't pay through taxes.

Naturally, there are big differences between Denmark and America - after all, we are on opposite sides of the planet - but I have noticed one thing in particular: Danes talk about politics in the same way as they talk about the weather.
