I did a nanowrimo once, writing by hand. And I guess I miscalculated how many written pages I needed.

On Nov 30, I realized I had 12,000 words left, and by Jove, I did it. I figured as long as I didn't go to sleep, it was still the same day 😂

I finished, ate breakfast, and went to work on Dec 1.

"So it turns out, guys ... we suck, and everyone hates us and our center-right policies aimed at maintaining the status quo. Hmmm, probably shouldn't make that public."
