He did have it—he got better treatment than people are getting to this very day. It was the monoclonal antibodies that saved him. Monoclonals not only turn around severe cases & prevent covid for immunocompromised, but they also are helpful for long covid. They are VERY HARD to get now.

Lysol isn’t effective anyway; covid is airborne. Masks and air purifiers are what you’re looking for

Two people in my family have died in the past year after having Covid that they contracted in the hospital while being treated for something else. Not a single healthcare worker masked around my brother, a heart failure patient, until after he tested positive for it.

The damage will be far worse than just a 4-yr gap. Both I and the individual who has managed this site for most of the past 50 yrs are retiring within the next 2 years. With this closure, we will not be able to plan a transition.
