Sorry if my explanation is all bad and messy, I'm not really great with words, but I still wanted to express some of the thoughts I had when making this piece.

I just thought it was really interesting how they have this sorta connection with each other and I wanted to connect that, also it fits with the prompt so that's why I did it too 😁

Like Kanaya going through this transformation and being given a new chance at life, while for Rose it brought nothing but despair and for a lack of a better words, it brought death to her? Especially in relation of her discovering her Mother's death

As I was thinking of how to approach this prompt and finalizing the idea, I kinda realize that both Kanaya and Rose sorta go through a transformation in the comic, but in the opposite ways?

My first draft for this piece was different from the final one, but the thing that remained the same was Kanaya representing "Life" and Rose representing "Death" since I thought it fit them, also them cradling each other was another element that stayed I think?
