Very stupid and reminds me of a great story from Massachusetts labor history: in the 50s, the meat packers union won the longest strike in state history in part because it was so racially integrated that it managed to organize the Black scabs the company brought in from the south.

My review of Manhunter (1986). Insane that William Petersen starred in two of the absolute best 80s thrillers (this and To Live and Die and L.A.), turned down some plum roles, and fucked off to CSI forever. What could have been.
