After experiencing jetlag again, I got to thinking about #startrek and how many first contacts must have been utterly screwed up because the ships time and local time didnt match at all. Imagine having to do complex alien diplomatic protocol while sleep deprived. That must have cost some redshirts.

Idea for every ecommerce website out there. Add a country of origin filter to your shop so people can filter out products that might be subject to tarrifs or come from certain countries that implemented tarrifs.

The good of civilization 7:

+ looks great
+ love the new way of building cities

The bad:

- the map is too "Full"
- it is in essence 3 games in one that have nothing to do with each other.

Conclusion: I dont think any patch will make me like this. (Except if they do a stellaris and really change)

I started playing Civilization even before I could read english. It is my favorite game franchise ever. number seven is out this week and I am struggling. New or different is not bad, so i will keep trying. But i am also not the target audience anymore. civ2 to civ4 were still peak for me. #games

My second attempt to prevent #doomscrolling has involved playing computer #games again (although i never stopped in the first place). But either I am getting older or the internet has really destroyed my attention span. Because now sometimes the boot up of a game is taking to long already.

So to try to get over my doomscrolling on all the apps i decided to start up chess again. Which is great but also backfired. Now i am playing 12 games at once and each time i see that little pawn icon my heart start racing. #attentionspan #doomscrolling #chess
