S'han combinat organoides renals humans amb ronyons porcins fora del cos mitjançant una màquina de perfusió normotèrmica. Això permet monitorar com els organoides humans s’integren en el teixit porcí, sense rebuig, mentre l’òrgan continua funcionant després del trasplantament.

Human kidney organoids were combined with pig kidneys outside the body using a normothermic perfusion machine.
This allows researchers to monitor how the human organoids integrate into the pig tissue, without rejection, while the organ continues to function after transplantation.
