If you're going to cite an advocacy group with no research/evidence in contrast with scientists with ample of both, why not hold them to some form of quantifiable standard? Use good journalistic practices, it matters here.

Really? Most rural places have incredibly high crime rates. TC is above the national average.

I think the "I do, we do, you do" isn't great for procedural knowledge either with the exception of when the teacher isn't very smart. Most teachers that do well with it, are limited by weak conceptual understanding. But that conceptual understanding is relevant to procedures.

Tell you what, I will bet you $1000 that I can eat more Froot Loops or some other cereal with artificial dyes than you can eat of cereal dunked in coal tar.
