I agree with all of the above, just not sure that was @cannonstats.com's argument. Though actually *some* xG overperformance isn't repeatable. but will let them respond.

I'm not sure @scott.cannonstats.com was saying that exactly. My reading was that it's best to be cautious when spending loads on a player who *might* regress
