I think its primarily because small businesses make the gear, versus companies using cheap foreign materials. Its kind of a necessary sacrifice to keep the money in our community.

The bouncing adds animation and liveliness, while I do feel its a bit too much. Its more that the rig has great head lateral movement. Ears dimensions are done extremely well. These are things I have been trying to understand how to improve.
