TCGs (One Piece, others), RPGs, video games, ADHD, parent... fairly lame in general
Ended up at 199th today out of 1016 players. Top 19%.
Went from 6-2 to 6-4 real fast there in the end. Just did not draw relevant cards against good Doffy players.
Still had a blast and my play was, with one major exception, a step above all my previous events.
I'm improving.

Getting OBS set up properly for recording Sim games and maybe even doing some webcam versus with friends.

I work with some folks who interact with me this way. it’s awesome. Esp since it’s about tech that we love.
I have TCG teammates who trust each other enough to challenge rationales. It’s so great to have a discussion and then go “wow you made me think. I understand deeper” rather than right/wrong.

Monday they booked me for Friday morning at 7am. They hoped to squeeze me in sooner but no luck.
Tomorrow night my mom is coming up so she's here with the kids Friday morning while my wife takes me in for surgery.
Meanwhile I'm basically 70% bedridden from pain and no mobility.

So much pain. Surgery prob this week. Pic 1 is my condition: ruptured disc pressing on sciatic nerve.
Surgeon can get me in this week as soon as stupid insurance approves.
Pain is bad... all nerve pain so meds don't do much but I'm on gabapentin, hydrocodone, and tizanidine. x_x

Finished Arcane season 2. I'm so angry that there isn't more... doesn't even have to be more of that story. Just more Runeterra shows at that quality level with beautiful animation and great music.
