Oddly sad about that, as it seemed to be a centuries-old family business (actually, about 80 years) and would outlast every fad that society could throw at it.

Only seems to advertise at Christmas with adverts that look a bit too close to a Christmas card from a "Trump supporting evangelical Christian family" for comfort.

Yet, the firm turns out to be a UK-based eco-friendly B Corp.

It did operate as Cellnet, but in the early days customers could only buy via 3rd party resellers not direct from the company so only corporate buyers would engage with the brand.

That changed with Mercury121 and Orange launched.
