I managed to score a old 16mm reel of Kimba the White Lion that was perhaps used for tv broadcast.
The film’s gone pretty pink but there may be some color that can be brought out of it in Davinci resolve. Nearly done scanning technically my first anime film reel.

Halfway done in scanning the second of two 16mm film reels of Disney’s The Rescuers. While there are so many ways to see this movie, there is something fun about seeing all these frames come together in a finished scan, dust and scratches included.

I was always trying to pin a name to the artist behind this work. I remember his work especially in the anime Monkey Magic and the Sega Saturn game Willy Wombat.

Well, it didn't take long for the mischevous old barkeep to look into a creative way for the trespassers to pay for their night's stay. One after another, he playfully plucked their souls from their sleeping bodies and invited his guests to a bit of fun.

In some alternate timeline, a group of adventurers stumble across what's left of a old run down and abandoned tavern to shelter for the night. However it seems it's not as abandoned as it looks.
