I also used Houdini to detail my Dragon Rise environment, like this setup to draw vines along the walls of the tower.

In fact, the whole environment is littered with lights. Picking out surfaces, faking light casting through trees, just making sure that it looks good from the cameras perspective. ✨

I probably used more lights than you think! The tower is lit by several sport lights and I used point lights to add the brightest highlights. I even used a cube to block some light and keep the highlight just where I wanted!

I used Houdini to create the landscape. I built a HDA that generated a landscape from proxy meshes. It would also erode the landscape around objects like the steps and rocks.

I made a lil video of my Skilltree Mentorship scene from a couple of years ago to go on my site. It's a little more work than screenshots but so worth it! #ue5 #gameart

Another bit of procedural modelling in Houdini. Making these little reusable setups was a lot of fun.

This was the first time on a project where I started to get my head into Houdini. By the end I'd used Houdini for pretty much all the assets! #Houdini #GameArt

Happy Halloween! 🎃

Here's my RE:7 inspired personal project from a couple of years ago. At the time it was the most ambitious project I'd attemped! #UE5
