My favourite was The Signalman (why did BBC drop the hyphen from James’ novel? 🤷‍♂️). It was the first one I remember seeing when much younger and still sticks with me. Xmas Eve is always about the ghost stories. So grateful to Mark Gatiss for bringing them back 🙏
