Just finished A MURDER IN ZION by Nicole Maggi. Loved it so much. I'm a huge sucker for mysteries and national parks, so I was ecstatic to find this and for more books in this series. I just hope I don't have to wait too long for the next!

I finished *The Cold Vanish* by Jon Billman. What a fantastic book. Not only an emotional story of a father searching for his son, but also dozens of intriguing cases of others who have also vanished out in the wilderness. I can't recommend it enough!

I've really been loving Megan Miranda books lately. Really good mysteries with interesting twists and structures. I just finished my 4th and will continue peppering her into my TBR list. I recommend!

Does anyone teach at a high school that has a zero phone policy, even during passing time and lunch (or similar)? Is it working well? How hellish was the implementation phase? My district is looking at options, and I’m pretty intrigued by it.

Starting the Spring semester with 5 straight virtual days. What a way to introduce myself to the new students this semester. Shockingly had pretty good virtual participation from the kids as well!

I've been devouring NOBODY WAKE THE BUGBEAR podcast the past months as they play a ton of different #Mothership one shots and modules. Such a fantastic podcast, and I've become obsessed with the game itself as well. I'm super excited to try to run some sessions this year.

Sad to see Pulido go, while also glad #SportingKC has some more flexibility in their finances/roster. Even though he certainly did not live up to expectations this past season, it will be tough to lose someone who is a very good finisher. Hopefully Agada or a signing can truly step up!

The First Law series by Joe Abercrombie is one of my favorite fantasy series ever.

AND even more props to the audiobooks read by Steven Pacey. One of the best narrators I’ve ever heard/read. Hard recommend.
