The album cover was designed by Jacob DeGeal based on a photo I took; he also designed a 13-page booklet with notes by violinist Ledah Finck and myself, score excerpts, and color reproductions of the beautiful graphic scores Bergamot made to interpret the piece. It looks great physically and in PDF.

It features the Bergamot Quartet playing 'Brace Each Other Dive,' an exhilarating and unconventionally scored piece that asks a lot of the possibilities of small ensemble coordination.

Let's go!!! Thank you so much to Oracle Egg for agreeing to host the show on Tuesday. Proceeds will go to the anti-recidivism coalition, which has been providing support for incarcerated firefighters who helped control the fires in LA. Thank you Trade School; see you there!!

All that said, we WILL do our show at the @thebrownbuildingarts in San Diego next Friday, January 31! Come for a droney, rhythmic, poppy night with the amazing musicians you see here. This will be my first time performing in San Diego probably since 2009.

As you all know, the fires in Los Angeles have had a devastating impact on thousands of residents, and nowhere more so than in Altadena, which was to be the location of this great set of solo acts on Tuesday.
