Just revisited 'Witness' (1985). Harrison Ford is brilliant. Peter Weir's direction sublime. Fantastic film. Acting/directing/writing are all of the highest class.
Definite recommend if you haven't seen it.

Michael Mann's HEAT was/is a seminal movie for me...
I saw it 5 times at the cinema and bought the VHS on release... then the DVD.
Friends (who sold HI-FI) even used the "bank robbery scene" to demo LaserDisc surround sound!
