Generally agree with this but the Epstein story seems to be hanging around our attention spans like we're a bunch of unsupervised pre-teens at a mall.

I no longer believe in "good billionaires." I think there can be very well-intended billionaires, but any group who relies on them for funding is fundamentally also beholden to them.

I think a big part of the excitement is that he's a socialist AND that he's still leading the race. He's breaking the assumptions about what's possible. That's pretty darn exciting for a lot of folks. (Even farther left than AOC I believe)
