As I have said before, genocide is now admitted as a core western value and every institutional tool of the state is being weaponised to defend it. Even WorkCover, designed to protect workers, is now being used to attack workers who object to ongoing mass slaughter.

I suggest we deal with the Chinese "threat" in the Pacific by matching their military spending. That would mean decreasing ours to about 18% of its current level.

Cleaning up old files and I find this, more pertinent now than ever, Zoe Leonard's 1992 poem "I Want A Dyke For President". When she briefly lived in Australia in the early 1980s, she hung out a lot with me and my girlfriend, she was already an interesting photographer but I never predicted this.
