The sentences are shockingly low. The judge should have taken in to account the lack of contrition of some of them. One of them even said he was a victim too! His sentence should have been doubled!

They all got off incredibly lightly. I would hope here in the UK they would have got far more. Of course in the UK very few rapes get as far as a trial, so swings and roundabouts etc.

Her crime seems to be that the media found out about it. If the Party knew about it years ago and thought it not relevant why did she have to go now? If there is nothing more to the story than what we know now her having to stand down is ridiculous.
