Trump narrowly flipped PA last year by 1.7%.

Vico entered elected office in 2016 when he won as a Sangguniang Panlungsod (City Council) member. He topped the race of thirteen candidates, surpassing incumbents.

Mayor Vico was first elected Mayor in 2019. He defeated incumbent Mayor Robert Eusebio, effectively ending the clan's 27-year rule in Pasig City. He was re-elected in 2022 with an even higher margin.

Mamamayang Liberal, a multi-sectoral party related with the Liberal Party, beat incumbent party-lists in Metro Manila, placing 5th out of 156 groups. Over a quarter of their total votes came from the capital.
