I just listened to the Hungry Gods audiobook and was amused at the quite distinctive different accents used for the main characters. I mean, it's a good way to differentiate voices in the dialogue, I guess.

I do wonder if the author, @aptshadow.bsky.social had any input into the accents used?

I wonder if @zaltzcricket.bsky.social has seen the Bluey cricket episode, and if he puffed up with pride at the sporting values in it, and maybe shed a tear as the lad honoured his Dad's words. Best ad for the game ever.

I saw a kid (14ish?) wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up waiting for a bus a couple of days ago. No biggie except that it was 40C in the shade.
Gotta admire his commitment to his vibe, I guess...

A blog post by @edmorrish on the process behind the wonderful S7E6 of @johnfinnemore 's Souvenir Programme was the first time I realised that a radio producer did more than just the admin stuff. @jonholmes then made more sense to me.

Just listening to @andrewhunterm.bsky.social et al on the latest No Such Thing As A Fish podcast from Perth, Oz talking about Michelin star history and portion sizes. Cut to ad that starts "Need tyres but also need less on your plate?" for RAC tyre delivery service. That HAD to be tailored, right?
