Night two of Gillian Welch and David Rawlings at the London Palladium. Some excellent alternative choices from night 1, a very different crowd, and one of the best encore sets I think I've ever seen. Finishing with a fully acoustic off-mic performance of Long Black Veil was perfect.

Friday, a lazy and relaxing one ahead for me. Just having a late brunch then going to go and explore central Manchester a bit. Wales yesterday was very picturesque, enjoyable trip,glad I went.

Sorry to hear about the allergies. I'm waiting for hayfever to kick in, so far it hasn't despite doing garden things (cutting/strimming).

Our news said something about a liehole spewing for a record length of time... I wish it actually did say that! Best avoided by all.
Lunch with a friend today which was excellent. I shouldn't need to eat for the rest of the day which is a result too.

Self care is very important. Taking a day for yourself sounds like it helped. Society should be more accepting of this as a thing, we'd all be better for that.
