There's a lot to commend episode 18 of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, A Tangled Web, not least the astonishing performance of Barry Morse, but this scene is a real standout for the way Gertrude Flynn was expected to get herself so very close to the prop vase thrown by Robert Redford.
