Great to see @ZackPolanski in Darlington on Friday night. Inspirational leader of the Green Party gave a talk to Green Party members and then in a separate session had a Q&A with members of the public @DtonGreenParty

Attended the vigil for victims of climate change in Durham Marketplace yesterday. I’m not in the photo but my dog is!

The problem with every grassroots Left Wing party I've got involved with has been so obsessed with "building a base at local level" they will spend decades holding echo chamber meets and promoting small local stuff while the Far Right just walks in and take over on bigger issues.

I like the cut of @zackpolanski.bsky.social 's jib!

Well done The Netherlands for broadcasting this hilarious "Disney Post Trump" cartoon ad. PMSL. Warning: Language NSFW

BBC online news is simply not reporting the various ways the UK is supporting Israel’s brutal war on Gaza.

What an unbelievably shitty, cruel and nasty country England has become.

The only thing you can rely on Reform MPs for is to continually lie and falsely shout that they’re victims.

The ONLY way to stop the BBC and Question Time in particular to stop platforming Nigel Farage would be to broadcast from Clacton.

I should add that the sound quality of Apple surround sound streaming is phenomenal and completely changed my listening habits. I’ve gone from physical formats playing over Sonos to Apple streaming to a home cinema 5 speaker format

On Tuesday it will be 4 years to the day since I moved to Wingate. My home cinema system has sat waiting to be set up for all that time because it’s a nightmare. Whole days wasted with speaker issues. But finally sorted today. Listening to “Dark Side of The Moon” in 5.1 Surround Sound. Sublime!

Just the latest revelation (on Linked In) about Rachel Reeves. There’s a pattern of lying and fiddling expenses that has been repeated throughout her career, on top of the plagiarism. Ridiculous that she’s been allowed to become Chancellor of The Exchequer.

Anybody else fed up to the back teeth of Red Tories Starmer and Reeves endlessly banging on about “tough decisions” that aren’t tough at all?
November 24, 2024 at 9:53 AM
Private eye crunching the stats

FINALLY! Starmer should be prosecuted too for supporting genocide and continuing to supply Israel with weapons despite the endless opposition to it from the vast majority of the British public.

This is happening in Coundon tonight and Shildon next week. Please come along to meet the wonderful Majority candidate Lynn O'Neill and former North of Tyne Mayor Jamie Driscoll will be there too. I'll be filming the meeting so come and say "Hi" if you see me.

2/2 Then 10 minutes from the end with ton of unanswered questions sat in Q&A @KiMcGuinness spent 5 minutes talking about her favourite sportsman. Only time for 2 questions so all first asked ignored and instead she went to 2 people who said how much they admired her. Beyond farcical!

Indeed! And by the way Majority are looking for more candidates to stand in the May elections in Norhtumberland and County Durham next May. They provide support and training for those who support "The Majority" and want things in this country to change for the better. #JustSaying

This one promoting Magazine's "Song From Under The Floorboards" with my favourite lyrics: "I am angry. I am ill. I am ugly as sin. My irritability keeps me alive and kicking. I know the meaning of life - it doesn't help me a bit. I'm no beauty but I know a good thing when I see it"
