Despite what the individual says below. Inverness is not remote . It’s a city of 60000.Many asylum seekers are sent to all parts of the uk. People sent to the barracks are free to come and go daily into town and it was previously used by soldiers in our Army.

I very occasionally light the stove if the weather is extremely cold (but haven't for 2-3 years now). It's still there as back up if needed.

What I don't miss about it is the hassle and expense, nor the very serious damage it can do to our physical health.
