See pinned post. My posts📢will either "reach" U or they won't,⛔in which case, my failure🙊of communication? Ultimately, it is all just "noise"?🙏
I spotted🕵a Green MSP yesterday at temple of consumerism, Silverburn Mall; playing hookie from March to do Xmas shopping?🤔😂

Basing CE£ on historical pop growth = nonsense; actual range of services reduced due 2 Quangos. CE pay calculated differently from other staff; "good practice" = fixed ratio between lowest/highest paid? Success depends on all staff. No evidence that current CE pay holding back recruitment?

Whilst I enjoy reading empirical arguments about demise of left/current politics, I also have wider/weirder(?) philosophical perspective on Change/Time. The current human world IS💩but perhaps 4 reasons we don't understand? eg: Is personal identity politics a cause or consequence of this turmoil?

Indeed! Thanks to KS for Govan photos inc GUWRC old "Supp Ben Additional Requirements" poster! I frequently wonder how much of "my past" is real & how much imagined; it is good to see actual evidence! I prefer the "old physical world" but also understand how new virtual world can create connexions/1

SG has many fiscal bean counters but few brilliant economists who understand real economy of land, labour, physical capital,💰+ how they work together? True economics = alchemy rather than mastering spread-sheets? PS: Fiscal settlement weighted against our interests, was so from day 1, 🕵warnings 🙉🙊🙈?

"Pure dead brilliant" as we say in Glasgow, a city which has mortgaged its soul to academia with lots of new shiny buildings and overseas students paying mega-fees + living in high rent student housing with zero rights!

Harmful habits can become "addictions"🤕 (thus I reckon all of us have potential 2 become addicted to something, if necessary "trigger" 🆘arises?). "Living well" seems to demand a balance of "spontaneity" with some basic structure? Too much "self-control" v. chaos; the golden mean of "just so"?🙏

Both from life exp & reading Buddhist -related psych; "habit" = big deal! Gradually/gently cultivating "good" life habits (preferably with some "feel good") easier, v. directly confronting "bad" ones with unreliable "Will Power". Not a fan of "manifestation" either! Beware Calvinist guilt complex!😂

Ecce Trumpus ignoramus!

Most useful thing adults can do? Demonstrate* that: There R alternative ways of experiencing (without using harmful substances!) the inner reality of being alive & growing up in a confusing world? "Positive" psychology & philosophy v. "negative" politics & economics?👍*"show not tell"

Just another mercenary muskateer chancing his arm with the Labour Party whilst he considers his next move to boost his personal pension funds?
November 10, 2025 at 9:42 PM
Good move. I reckon folks with busy lives, families etc need three days off as compressing everything in to the traditional two day weekend creates stress? You (and HR Dept) will need to adjust to the mathematical challenge of calculating salary, pension, leave etc on an 80% pro rata basis?👍

U = {C x f(T)} x {f(PP)}/∞

Uncertainty = Change as function of Time, x function of Paradoxical Possibilities; divided by infinity!

Star Trek type nonsense, but I reckon humanity has reached its limits; we need an X factor to turn the bad stuff on its head? 🤔
November 4, 2025 at 2:52 PM
Very interesting explanation of Rawls, thanks for that. Key phrase is "enlightened" govt. Humanity requires a massive shift in collective consciousness; sadly it may take some massive (and inherently "unjust"?) disasters for this to happen? 🤔

Nae offence mate but one George T is more than enough thanks; we don't need any AI clones📵 or versions! 😆

I have spent good part of last 25 years digesting these metaphors in form of "spiritual teachings"+ such like. I am still⌛standing on 1 side of river hoping 2 get across, there's a big crowd🐑behind me!😂I would happily divest some "free will"🃏2 be led across, lots of 📢theories, no boats!🆘🤕🚣🏊🙏

It's Adam Smith's fault; he of "The Wealth of Nations"! NHS has adopted specialisation + division of labour so enthusiastically that communication & process delays are almost inevitable? Excellent article.

Thought for the day: As there are virtually no "original" thoughts, worth remembering: most internal self critical internalisation "routines" most likely originated from somebody else's judgemental throw-away comments? Much of our stress comes from others trash?

FYI:15🤕interactions/5mths/6sites/4 specialist/tests/MRI (80 mins!)+GP +opt🕵Paradox: GP = briefest consult (1/pers/1☎); limited overview of "whole" patient/impact of total meds, treatment, changes?
NHS👩‍🎨spent time/£, saved eye sight, prompt reaction. But something⛔missing from processes/ systems?🙏

A simple way would b2 start as "meet & greet" volunteer at hospital entrances; lots of folks arrive confused esp if unfamiliar with lay-out. Then going round wards with meals/teas etc. If ur genuinely interested, U can pick up lots of info/vibes quite quickly? A/E when patients R "stacked"?🙈🚑🤕
October 13, 2025 at 10:23 PM
A new phrase: "A failure 2 show basic human curiosity"? I reckon if UR a🐝busy/tired health professional/ specialist, U may lack curiosity🕵in UR🤕patient, esp anything which extends out with strict remit of consultation?⛔May become a habit 2 discourage NHS "time wasters"+ improve UR productivity? 🙉🙈🙊
