Music fan, especially Country. I read books and suffer WAFC. I’ve been known to run a bit, Joseph’s Goal fundraiser
Today’s Manchester marathon was the hottest, hardest 26.2 miles I’ve ever done. The heat was an absolute killer. Walked a minute per mile from 18 onwards and 13-15 was a sickener.
Completed it though and another medal to boot

20 mile run ahead of Manchester marathon in two weeks.
Not where I should be training wise but 20 miles is still 20 miles. A vet got one this morning with more walking stunts than planned but it’s all miles in the legs

My God, The Newsroom with Jeff Daniels is bloody good tv. Amazing, punchy script by Aaron Sorkin and fantastic performances all round

4th road run of the year. Slowly building back, very cold & windy this morning. Heavy legged and short of breath in the wind, it’s not the good ones you learn from but the not so good. #100milesforJoe

Remember 10 years, we were suddenly charged 10p for a plastic bag in a shop? All to reduce plastic and Save The Planet etc
Now we are being charged 50p for a paper bag, that has nothing to do with the above, & we accept that we pay to advertise their product question

I’m in a bar in Bramhall, leafy village part of Stockport. Conversations overheard include; number of accepted xx/xy/yy chromosomes that should be accepted, electric cars & pros/cons, and the future of Lib Dem & Tory parties with the emergence of Reform. You don’t get that in Wigan pubs

The obligatory Christmas watch of Escape To Victory, and I was today years old when I thought; Michael Caine (Colby) professional footballer, who had been in a POW camp for a couple of years.
Jeez, they feed them well in that camp

@alltherightmovies.com I’m not sure how you decide upon movie to discuss , but after binging on your archive, I’m chancing asking for Lethal Weapon. A classic of its genre, shame the movies got worse with the number of people in the poster 🤷🏼‍♂️

Anyone would think I enjoy whisky and cheese. It seems to be all I’ve been bought for Christmas this year.
Am extremely grateful

President Trump just called for a chat. I’ve never heard him sound so horny & relaxed, or more determined to be a historically great predator . I think surviving an ass investigation & winning such a huge game of Monopoly- esp Kings Cross Station- has had a profound effect on him.
