He can't get a different tune out of these players, even with his trademark 70th minute substitutions. Home games are must wins/cannot lose games now. So for those reasons I'm out. Farke has to go, with our thanks. #lufc

Can it really be called getting sacked if they give you £52m?

If you don't look like scoring, you absolutely have to stop the opposition from doing so. Presumably that was part of the data led approach to signing big, tall defenders. #lufc

It's not my instinct, ordinarily, to call for politicians (or anyone else for that matter) to be removed from their posts. But Mandleson needs to go, immediately. It should already have happened.

Ultimately Leeds should never have been in a position where Fulham could (again) dictate their transfer business, not on deadline day.

Farke needed attackers and they did not give them to him. Now, as he said, it will be 'difficult' to fight for survival. So poor.

Four and a half hours to go in the transfer window. All eyes on Elland Road. Hard to argue that without one or even two incomings, it's been a poor window. We've not scored from open play yet, after all! Farke made his view crystal clear. #lufc

We need to splash some cash from an attacking point of view (or allow DCL to get to full fitness without pressure), but that was a solid defensive performance with some grit - much needed after the last week #lufc

The thing with Starbucks standard roast is it isn't very nice. Their blonde roast is much better. Independent coffee shop coffee is usually better than both. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I'll tell you what's cathartic: realising you can unfollow a c*nt if you want to, and you never have to see their rubbish again.

If it was my choice, I'd sack Farke now. He won't be here next season anyway and we need to do something different to rescue the season. #lufc

Someone explain to me the reasons why we shouldn't replace Farke now? #lufc #mot #alaw

Maybe the master plan is for this to be the year we break our play off curse. #lufc

Imagine if we don't go up and we'll be able to say, well we had too many early kick offs and we can win in London. #lufc

Well on the plus side, I am getting my Saturday back. #lufc

It'd be nice if Aaronson could do a one two as good as that for us. FFS. #lufc

This is plop. Leeds being Leedsy. Again. Worrying reminders of the end of last season too. #lufc

I was wearing last season's unlucky third shirt on the exercise bike when they scored. So it's probably my fault as much as Meslier's. #lufc

I really hope this is the start of a #lufc focus on the league, rather than the start of the more traditional collapse in form.

This really is a must listen episode.
NEW: Andrew Norfolk broke the grooming gang story, 15 years ago. His exclusive interview on today’s News Agents
is deeply powerful, not least for his anger about those political figures now exploiting it and the victims for their own purposes.

I never know how to greet someone in this interim period. It's crazy to say Merry Christmas but also seems odd not to acknowledge the time of year, especially if it's someone you'd not seen in the run up.

It'd be nice if Leeds weren't so predictable when it came to losses. If we don't go up, it will be because we have no idea what to do in games like today's. #lufc

Big news here: the 'NEW ROAD LAYOUT' sign on the back road near my house has finally been removed. Given it was installed in 1994, we now know that thirty years is when something moves from new to not.
