I’m reading Rebecca Allensworth’s, “The Licensing Racket,” right now, and I think this compliments it well.
She talks about similar ideas and points out the tendency to focus on professions that maybe don’t need to be licensed at all while giving a “free pass” to professions like law and medicine.
