In Ep 4, FBI photo specialist Bill Shopperle explains how they tracked the Boston mafia by installing a camera under the hood of a '68 Chevy. The whole rig took six car batteries that had to be changed out every 24hrs, just to capture roughly 1 FPS.

Sheila Dubrawski, the lottery staffer you hear in ep 3 of "Scratch & Win," has held onto these betting slips since 1977. You can see this is the "Bettors Copy" that the player held onto and used to claim their prize if they won.

Crazy that when the original state-run 'Numbers Game' launched in 1976 it was an ALL-PAPER system. So if you filled out one of these slips at a convenience store out in the Berkshire mountains, a physical carbon copy had to be at lottery headquarters in Boston by the time of the drawing at 10:30pm
