Yesterday, I had the great pleasure to be back at the Institute of History of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to present a conference entitled "The other side of the coin: credit in the late-antique taxation system" in a event full of great researchers. Loved it!

Next week, I'll present a paper entitled "Roman plebs and indebtedness: the 'crisis of entitlement' of 384" at the University of Edinburgh's event "Shifting frontiers in Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages". This paper is part of my PhD research on credit and social relationships in Late Antiquity.
