It’s International Mountain Day today so here’s an iconic photograph of Wasdale in winter raiment taken last year.

One of my favourite views of some of my favourite local hills.

An excellent hike today over Robinson, Hindscarth, Dale Head, High Spy, Maiden Moor and Catbells.

Starting from Little Town car park, it was -4°C when we left.

Stunning views throughout but very cold day.
