Even by his own standards this is seriously unhinged. He clearly has a very troubled mind.

If people want to spend more then demand increases. If businesses can increase supply then it leads to growth but if they can’t it leads to inflation. The problem is that increasing demand is more or less instantaneous but increasing supply is usually not unless it is by increasing imports.

I’ve been trying (and mostly failing) to make really good Yorkies for 40 years but Mary’s recipe is a game changer. The other bit of advice is whatever you do don’t open the oven door into you are certain the puddings are fully set.

Trump’s problem is that he cannot fire anybody who knows where the bodies are buried so expect him to deny and deflect as usual. He knows that in a couple of days the compliant media in the US will move on and he doesn’t care what is said by anyone else.

It is only a cap isn’t it? Is there anything to stop an energy retailer who buys a lot of green electricity selling it on cheaply even if there isn’t as much they can do about gas? The other rip-off is standing charges of course but that is another argument.

Agreed, even as a Saints fan it was not an enjoyable watch. I am just relieved nobody from either side seems to have been injured which is a real risk when you have a mismatch like this.

Not yet though. If I understand correctly once Trump has done 2 years Vance could invoke the 25th amendment then serve out the rest if the term and 2 more full terms.

I know and I agree about sloppy sub-editing although it is not limited to the Guardian. I was just trying to clarify that the GCE umbrella covered both O levels and A levels. I probably replied to the wrong post.

O levels and A levels were both GCEs - General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level and General Certificate of Education Advanced Level. O levels were replaced by GCSE in the late 80s, A levels are still GCEs.

Correct. Because to blame him would mean admitting they were fooled when they voted for him. We have the same issue with Brexit.
