So @dark1x.bsky.social
DK Bananza seems like it may have some level of advanced reflections on some surfaces?

Whatever it is, it's enough to catch out of screen space info with a good level of perspective correctness and more curiously catch geometry changes to deformation by the player

I will note on the UFO test. The container is busted apparently? It's SDR only and the color space out of whack specifically due to errors in the browser. Could that influence the results of tests for response time?

At the very least it's stuck in 60hz mode vs 60fps in a 120hz container which does?

Switch 2 example

Has anyone re-tested the ROG Ally recently in that case? As I don't know, they look and feel extremely similar even in slow-mo. Sonic and Tails having not much blur on either

For another example here's Mario Bros in high contrast for a worst case scenario for response times.

Then what is up with my Switch 2's panel then (found the 8x slo mo on my Pixel 6)
June 23, 2025 at 5:39 PM
And some more images of TOTK NS2E
June 23, 2025 at 5:32 PM
And from my own unit. Here's a video of TOTK NS2E (Pixel 6 Pro at 60fps for the video capture, don't have any better one unfortunately)
June 23, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Yet we have multiple other video and image examples contradicting this?

Will have to thread this as Bluesky doesn't support multiple video uploads. But this is Minit on a friend's Switch 2 he sent me.
June 23, 2025 at 5:27 PM
Like, I don't know, something is def up. the panel seems to be keeping up well enough for my own panel in TOTK.
June 21, 2025 at 11:10 PM
Also just some anecdotes. Here's my panel with the classic camera spin and when flying down facing Link Laterally in TOTK NS2E

There is some blur, but some elements have next to no blur. The last image being the worst case of it but even there Link and the Pillar have no blur and DoF is active.

I don't know. I've had the opposite experience and it's pretty good? Sure it's not OLED level black/response, but that's the nature of LCDs

Its true HDR ability can't be tested without a proper HDR ground truth

But me and others haven't had ghosting issues?
Here's Minit, a high contrast example

Heck, if it is customized, it may very well be customized to be *better* perf unit of performance than Desktop DLSS funnily enough considering how it's beating FSR2 quite handily despite the internal res.

Which if so, will probably get added to the Desktop branch in the next DLL

Also a odd thing about how the game looks on PC. The "Fallow" state of the Windward Plains (The first area in that Desert) is weirdly *heavier* than the full on forest that has more geometry and better lighting?

To elaborate on #3. Apparently, the game is wasting a lot of CPU cycles (Which would be pertinent if it's CPU DirectStorage in-use rather than GPU DirectStorage, although even in general RE Engine has been CPU wonky lately) due to Denuvo?
