Years ago I lived in China briefly, the government blocks access to sites like Google for authoritarian control. This is not about child protection. Forcing adults to handover ID cards to look at memes on the internet is about control. This is censorship.

I'm annoyed about needing to verify my adulthood everywhere online. It's an invasive law written by incompetents who don't understand how the internet works. Kids will get round it. I used to play internet games on czech websites at school when they banned games.

This time last year I was being bullied by another player via their d&d character. Today I wrote out the timeline and included all the red flags. I had 5k words. I think this will be my next project.
