Lately I’ve been seeing things (mostly movies)
the level of basic "amenities" when it comes to travel (hotels, flights, etc.) has fallen off a cliff and we are all way worse for it. Annoying that the only thing I am nostalgic for is a basic level of hospitality (including general decorum in public)

why call Guiu back if he can't even get on the bench for this match? Please tell me the rule change happened too late to add him to the roster for this round. Otherwise Maresca's reluctance to put an actual striker (Shim too) up top is bordering on insanity and he needs to be pushed on the subject

Maresca's reluctance to play Guiu or Shim is going to kill us in the next couple months. Having someone who knows the position and can run and be physically imposing, even if they lack technical ability or experience now would help the system so much more than forcing Ty or anyone else up top

it's such a fucking joke. He's probably our best CB now, and if you're going to have your CBs make mistakes every week at least let it be the kid who can develop into something great. Maresca has really bundled the defensive situation so far this year.

With all the "we don't care about awards" and "we're picking comedic performances" they want so badly to seem like this is a cool list! A special list! But it is very much the typical list. Plus most of the write-ups are from non-film specific people so what were we to expect.

I'm less concerned about the attitude of a 21 year with that kind of production. Especially coming from the media mess that is United. We heard that with Sancho too, who seemed professional enough while on loan. Garnacho probably just has a high opinion of himself and Amorim has shut him out.

completely agree. His familiarity with the league is a plus too. And, especially for his age, he's been very productive in his young career playing for what has been a very tumultuous side, to say the least.

I'm perplexed by the amount of people who think Garnacho will be a bad signing, not to mention those who insist he's not an upgrade on Gittens.

Craig was pretty much in the same age range as every other bond except for Lazenby. And i'm not entirely opposed to a younger actor but Bond needs to look like a man (whatever that means). Holland just doesn't have the juice, let him keep playing high school spiderman.

it's so dumb. Bond is supposed to be the greatest spy in the world - no way someone in their 20s is believably that. this isn't superhero bs - really hope they go older than these picks suggest. Pierre the only acceptable choice under 35.

I hate it, especially if it's Ekitike at the quoted price. No guarantee he'll be as good as Jackson, especially given our recent record with Bundesliga forwards. This feels like the SDs overreacting to idiots online. The trajectory is good for Nico - bring in competition and see what happens.

I really hope they don't sell Jackson. We have so many much worse players we need to move on from. He stagnated this year but many of the forward players did. With more competition behind him there's a good chance he pushed on next season. he's clearly one of our 5-6 most important players.

We definitely got fleeced on Cucurella and if we can recoup the entire cost, ultimately I think I agree with you. But I wouldn't feel comfortable letting him go without a replacement. Not super confident we could get Kerkez and not sure who else is of that level and available.

Hard to disagree with this - If Real are truly interested in EnzoF at the price we paid you have to sell, especially since we have some cover there with Santos/Lavia. Only guy I'd move to do not sell is cucu - improved a lot the last two seasons and we don't have any else there at the mo.

Poirot is wonderful - the acorn/britbox case of the week shows are how my partner and i get through the winters and periods when we need to isolate still. Are there other similar shows you'd recommend? we love death in paradise & brokenwood mysteries too, if that helps.
