But, there’s a convoluted system of visiting each publisher individually. There are 16 pages of specific instructions for accessing this material. Instead of a centralized location like the Upstate is granted.
The question is why and I’m still not finished trying to figure it out.

Charleston Southern said they stopped being a review site in 2020 citing security concerns. The Citadel and College of Charleston have not confirmed if they were asked to be a review site this year.

I asked them about the choice to alienate these and other large districts and was told USC Beaufort has been a review site in the past and they declined this year.

No insight into any reasoning behind not choosing the other colleges and universities in the area that would be qualified.

They selected 8 sites for public review. The problem? All the sites are in the Upstate and the Midlands.
The materials will be used at all public schools in the state and it will be difficult for parents in DD2, Berkeley and Charleston Counties to review them in person.
