I think HLJ just puts discontinued on an item if they can't source it. Though would be better if they just label it as out of stock to avoid confusion

To be fair,when we were at that age some protagonists "looked" like they were adults.

You may want to consider getting the Metal Robot Damashii versions of the two. They include the effect part to recreate the scene.
